Lights ON welcomes the “Private Moon” installation designed by Russian artist Leonid Tishkov for the first time in Cluj-Napoca.
“Private Moon” is a visual poem telling the story of a man who met the Moon and stayed with her for the rest of his life.
The “Private Moon” traveled as a mobile installation to different countries and continents including Russia, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Austria, France, Switzerland, Slovakia, the Arctic and et cetera. In 2015 the “Private Moon” traveled to Romania and crossed the Carpathian mountains with an ecological mission. In 2014-2017 the artist created in Japan the “Museum of Imaginary Moons”, a series of light installations dedicated to poets of different eras, as Matsuo Basho, Federico Lorca and William Blake.
