Pe 26 martie, cu doar câteva ore în urmă, grupul Nine Inch Nails a lansat două noi albume cu titluri sugestive, Ghosts V: Together şi Ghost VI: Locusts, care însumează 23 de piese instrumentale, pe care le-au pus gratuit la dispoziţia fanilor pe online! Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross au scris pe site-ul oficial NIN: “Music—whether listening to it, thinking about it or creating it—has always been the thing that helped us get through anything—good or bad. With that in mind, we decided to burn the midnight oil and complete these new Ghosts records as a means of staying somewhat sane”.

Precedentele 4 LP-uri Ghosts fuseseră lansate ca pachet în martie 2008, însă, între timp, trupa de Industrial Rock din Cleveland şi-a trecut în discografie titlurile The Slip (LP, 2008), Hesitation Marks (LP, 2013), Not the Actual Events (EP, 2016), Add Violence (EP, 2017) şi Bad Witch (LP, 2018). Nu mai e cazul să amintim de contribuţia lui Reznor & Ross la muzica de film, atâta vreme cât tandemul are deja un Oscar pentru OST-ul la The Social Network.
